Michel Seltz

Michel joined us for his first Pirouettes vintage in 2021. It is with an iron will and an unconditional love for his vines that he wishes to embark on the vinification of his grapes without additives. Quiet and discreet by nature, his favorite activity, and he can never repeat it enough, is the size of his 10 hectares of vines around the village of Mittelbergheim.
But Michel is also a great talker: in his cellar, you stay for hours exchanging, tasting old bottles, and strolling between vats and barrels. Michel’s wines are precise and generous, his Pinot Noirs reveal a perfectly mastered vinification in his old Alsatian barrels and barrels, as well as his white grape varieties, vinified for the most part in stainless steel vats.
