François & Clémence Bléger
François took over the family estate in 1996 following his father who sold these grapes directly. He made the decision to vinify his own wines in a magnificent sandstone cellar, under the family home in old oak barrels.
For a few years, Clémence, François’ niece has joined him on the estate, she brings her dynamism her ideas and her good mood. Both have begun a conversion to organic farming and are skillfully raising a range of sulphite-free vinified wines. It is a family-sized estate, on a human scale, with a great sense of sharing and hospitality; Clémence and François are very meticulous and attentive to their environment.
They vinify gourmet and generous wines, easy to access. The estate cultivates a beautiful proportion of Pinot Noir on the ban of Saint Hippolyte, the wines produced are colorful, structured and deep but at first fond and pleasant.
